It’s American Craft Beer Week!
And we are in the middle of the biggest construction/expansion project of our lives. We decided we were not going to plan anything for the week. That was perfect because American Craft Beer Week came along and found us this year!
Here’s the rundown. Maybe you can catch up with us along the way:
Tuesday, May 12th Tap Collaboration with Piney River and Public House. Alongside the award-winning beers at The Public House (downtown Rolla location), you can drink Black Walnut Wheat, 2015 Mule Team IPA, and our summer seasonal Hobby Farm Ale. Taps begin pouring at 4 pm.
Wednesday, May 13th will find us a Jolly Rogers at Lake of the Ozarks. We’re doing a Piney River first–christening the new Jolly Rogers pirate ship. There will be Piney River beer and appetizers and a pirate ship. What more could you possibly want?!
Thursday, May 14th we will be sampling Hobby Farm Ale and more with our craft beer brothers and sisters at the annual American Craft Beer Week Tasting at Mama Jean’s Market (Sunshine location) from 5 to 7 pm. There will be craft beer sales galore and tasty treats from the Mama Jean’s Deli.
Friday, May 15th we’re covering Jefferson City and Columbia. Enjoy Piney River and many other fine brews at The Battle of the Brews at the Jaycees Fairgrounds. The Jeff City Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring this event as a fundraiser for local charities. It’s from 4:30 to 8:30 pm.
Also on May 15th we’ll be in Columbia at the Craft Beer Cellar from 6 to 9 pm where Piney River beers will be paired with local farm, fresh foods. One of those beers will be Hobby Farm Ale, and they will have four-packs available for sale that night, too.
On May 16th we’ll be visiting with our friends in the Armed Forces at Class Six at Fort Leonard Wood. Free tasting from 12 to 4 pm.
Finally, on May 17th we’re wrapping things up with a beer dinner at Macadoodles in Springfield. Unfortunately the beer dinner is already sold out, but if you stop by between 4 and 6 you may catch a glimpse of some great food from City Butcher and hear a little bit of the Piney River story.
It’s a good thing we didn’t actually plan anything for American Craft Beer Week! Come out and see us along the way and let’s raise a glass to the great beer being made in the USA!
